Below is a list of all globally released industrial automation communication drivers in the iX2 Software. We are continually programming and testing new drivers. Please contact us if you do not see the driver you are looking for. To update the list of available drivers from within iX Developer, click on the iX button (top left corner), select Update Drivers > From Internet. Follow the prompts to find the drivers of your choice.

CE6 Compatible Drivers
If you need the driver to support X2 base v1, BoX2 base v1 and similar limited or discontinued HMI products, please download and install the version linked in the Latest CE6 driver column in the table above.
How To Handle Drivers When Working With Both Legacy HMI Products and Active/Mature Products
When working with legacy products:

Download the Latest CE6 Driver version from the link in the driver list above.
-
Install that driver from within iX Developer, running iX as admin.
For detailed instructions, see Updating Drivers From File. -
Restart iX Developer.

Select Project > Run > Rebuild to rebuild the project.
When NOT working with legacy products anymore:
-
Reinstall the latest driver from within iX Developer, running iX as admin.
For detailed instructions, see Updating Drivers From Internet. -
Restart iX Developer.

Rebuild the iX project, to use the latest installed driver version.
